The Texas County assessor’s office last week mailed more than 10,000 personal property forms to owners.
There is a new look to this year’s mailing: The form arrives in an envelope, and a self-addressed envelope also is included for its return.
The deadline to declare ownership of vehicles, boats, cattle and other personal property is March 1. Those who fail to comply face a penalty.
