A 61-year-old St. Louis woman was arrested Sunday after guards at a state prison at Licking found marijuana in her shoe.
According to a news release from the Licking Police Department, the woman was visiting the Missouri Department of Corrections’ South Central Correctional Center and had to remove her shoes to pass through a metal detector.
That’s when guards found what’s suspected to be marijuana, authorities said. The woman was arrested, but has not been formally charged.
