Texas County Memorial Hospital’s monthly breastfeeding support group is 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, in the education room.
Susan Johnson, a registered nurse and childbirth educator at TCMH, will facilitate the group, which is open to mothers that are currently breastfeeding or expectant mothers that are planning to breastfeed after the birth of their child. Mothers may bring their breastfeeding child to the meeting.
The group is free, but the obstetrics department is asking those that plan to attend to sign up with the department. Support group meetings are held every fourth Thursday.
