A Houston man was seriously injured Thursday night in a crash on Brushy Creek Road east of his hometown, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Sgt. Jeff Kinder said a 1998 GMC SUV ran off the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned several times, ejecting the driver, Robert L. Williams, 33; and a passenger, Derrick L. Baldwin, 28.
Kinder said Baldwin was flown to St. John’s in Springfield with serious injuries. Williams was transported to Texas County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
Kinder said the vehicle was totaled.
