Houston police are investigating a stealing spree at a Houston apartment complex at 777 W. Highway 17.

Tenants John P. Wade, 33, Ashley R. Morris, 28, and Rex Franklin, 25, all reported items stolen overnight from their vehicles on Feb. 1 or 2. The total loss of CDs and games was about $1,300.

In other matters, police:

-Charged Richard A. Weatherston, 21, of 402 N. Grand Ave., No. 2, with allowing a dog to run at-large on Feb. 14.

-Cited Deven W. Stoops, 20, 17303 Highway B, on Feb. 13 with improper vehicle registration.

-Charged Megan L. Neal, 25, 722 Augusta St., with operating a motor vehicle while operator’s license revoked on Feb. 14.

-Cited Jesse L. Houston, 21, of Bucyrus, with failing to register a motor vehicle – displaying plates of another vehicle on Feb. 13.

-Charged Belinda T. Bryant, 39, 16464 Forrest, with operating a motor vehicle with operator’s license revoked on Feb. 9.

-Charged Harold D. Smith III, 22, of 18284 Brushy Creek Road, with failing to yield the right-of-way following an accident Feb. 12 at First and Pine streets on Feb. 12. He struck a vehicle driven by Angela R. Quinlan, 38, of 9885 Highway E. Smith said his vision was partially obscured by a fogged window.

-Arrested Johnnie R. Clinton Jr., 26, of 501 Broadway St., on a City of Houston warrant charging him with driving while revoked. He was unable to post $1,670 cash bond at the Texas County Jail on Feb. 12.

-Investigated an accident that police said occurred when a vehicle driven by Michael R. Saiz, 16, of Raymondville, pulled from a Grand Avenue parking slot on Feb. 11 and struck a parked vehicle owned by Dean Pinkston of Houston.
