Hartville outscored the short-handed Houston Lady Tigers 18-6 in the second quarter Monday en route to a 59-44 victory.

Lady Tigers coach Brent Kell and guards Kendra Welch and Danielle Pounds missed the game with illnesses. Shelbi Moore (hand) also did not play.

Senior Holly Thomas scored 18 points for Houston. Erica Keeney had 16.

JUNIOR VARSITY: Kaitlyn Neal scored eight points and Elizabeth Hayes added six in the JV Lady Tigers’ 20-12 victory Monday at Hartville.

The game was shortened to two quarters.
