A new eatery opened recently in downtown Houston.
“The Dog House – Home of the Big Dog,” is situated at 219 N. Grand Ave. across from the Texas County Administrative Center. Owners are Debbie Kell and Lauren Reith. The menu includes Chicago Style, Nathan or Big Dog hot dogs and a variety of sandwiches and pizza.
The business is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Summer hours have not been determined. The telephone number is 417-967-DOGS (3647).
