With 152 signed up for soccer in the Houston Parks Department program, the call went out for help this week. Director Jim Root said additional coaches are needed and may contact him at 417-967-3348.
A clinic for coaches is 10 a.m. Saturday at Houston City Hall. A program for parents, coaches and kids is at 1 p.m. at the city’s soccer field near the Houston Memorial Airport.
