The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will hold a blood drive from 1:30 until 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 8, at First Baptist Church in Summersville.
CBCO has issued a code yellow alert for Type B Negative and O Negative. There is less than a two-day supply of these blood types on hospital shelves.
Eligibility requirements include weighing at least 110 pounds, being in general good health and a present ID.
