Texas County’s unemployment rate inched up slightly in February, the Missouri Department of Economic Development reported.
The figure was 9.5 percent, which was an increase of three-tenths of a percentage point from January.
The county’s jobless rate was slightly lower than the region’s number, which was 9.7 percent.
Other counties: Douglas, 10.4; Howell, 8.9; Shannon, 14.5; and Wright, 10.9.
