Three Raymondville residents were injured Friday night when their vehicle swerved to miss a deer, ran off Highway B east of Houston, struck a tree and overturned, the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Tracy A. Freitas, 32, was traveling eastbound about two miles east of Houston when the accident occurred.
Freitas, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries. Two passengers, Kalena M. Freitas, 14; and Savannah K. McNaughton, 8, were also taken to TCMH. The oldest passenger had moderate injuries, while Savannah’s injuries were minor, said Tpr. Myron Downey.
The 2004 Dodge was totaled in the accident that occurred at about 9:05 p.m.
