A Christian-based franchise is putting a new twist on the old concept of yard sales and resale shops.
“Just Between Friends” is the leading children’s and maternity consignment sales event in the country. It has 77 franchises in 19 states, including Missouri, which next weekend will host a three-day sale Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the National Guard Armory in Rolla.
The event is a dream-come-true for penny-pinching parents. It features children’s clothes, toys, books, blankets, swings, outdoor toys, strollers, cribs, dressers and children’s furniture.
From Gymboree and Children’s Place to Little Tikes and Step One, Rolla’s spring/summer sales event will offer area families thousands of affordable items they need for their growing families. Moms who are interested in consigning their outgrown and unused items will make 70 percent of what their items sell for, and they will have the opportunity to shop the sale before the doors are opened to the public. Volunteers, who help run every aspect of the event, shop before everyone else in exchange for their time.
