An early Monday morning accident west of Cuba injured a Hartshorn truck driver, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Donald L. Stewart, 45, was traveling westbound on I-44 when he attempted to pass and drove too far over, the patrol said. The 2007 Freightliner traveled off the roadway, struck a cable median barrier, a road sign and overturned, according to a report.
Extensive damage was reported to the semi. Stewart, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated and released at the scene.
