Pauline Chapman, 68, died Saturday, April 25, 2009, at her home following a brief illness.

She was born May 22, 1940, in Flat, daughter of Verlin and Ruby Henson Wilson. She and Louis Chapman were married Sept. 30, 1956, at Flat.

She was a beautician for 42 years. She served on the Texas County Soil and Water District board and was a member of the Eastern Star.

She enjoyed raising cattle on the farm and being outdoors. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her husband, Louis; her mother, Ruby Crawford of Licking; four children, Pauline “Peaches” Stotler of Lenox, Velma Johnson of Anutt, Belinda Chapman of St. Charles and Becky Siegle of Edgar Springs; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Ulysess Wilson; stepbrother, Gary Wayne Heavin of Rolla; half sister, Verla Kay Smith; half brothers, Butch Wilson and Richard Wilson; and numerous relatives and friends.

Services were Monday, April 27, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Mathis officiating. Burial was in Edgar Springs Cemetery.
