Separate accidents in Texas County on Monday left motorists with moderate injuries, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
An 82-year-old Cabool man was injured on U.S. 63 about nine miles south of Houston when his 2007 Jeep Cherokee left the roadway, struck an embankment and vaulted before striking a tree, said Tpr. Myron Downey.
Ray Pippen was taken by private vehicle to Texas County Memorial Hospital. He was wearing a seat belt, Downey said. The vehicle received moderate damage.
An Archie truck driver was hurt on U.S. 60 just west of Cabool Monday when his westbound semi crossed the median and eastbound lanes and struck an embankment. James F. Adams, 54, was taken by ambulance to TCMH, Downey said. The truck was totaled.
