Houston police handled several investigations during the last week, including citing three with DWI offenses.
Officers:
-Charged Bradley A. Belt, 20, of Houston, with DWI and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway on April 26.
-Cited Keith A. Masters, 23, of 5413 U.S. 63, with DWI at nearly four times the legal limit and peace disturbance at a Florence Street residence on April 19.
-Charged Brett A. Schneider, 21, of 503 King, with peace disturbance after a vehicle was reported with blaring music and squalling tires on April 25. Schneider said he had been at a demolition derby all night and that might be the blame for his behavior, police said.
-Cited Jake A. Scheets, 16, of 6065 Boster Road, with following too closely following an accident that occurred when his truck struck a car in the rear operated by Heath A. Jenkins, 17, of Yukon. The mishap occurred April 21 at First Street and South Sam Houston Blvd.
-Cited Jennifer L. Lancaster, 37, of 519 Halbrook St., with DWI – more than three times over the limit – on April 25.
-Cited Christopher B. Colgan, 17, of Bucyrus, with failing to register a motor vehicle – displayed plates of another vehicle on April 24.
-Charged Joseph W. Revelle, 20, of 6160 Highway 17, with failing to register a motor vehicle annually on April 25.
-Are investigating the theft of a cash drawer at Miller’s Grill on April 22. About $500 was missing, and there was no forced entry, police said.
