Youth turkey hunters in Texas County bagged 50 birds during a special weekend season.
The tally was 50, which was up 14 from last year, according to a Missouri Department of Conservation report.
The count: adult gobblers, 36; juvenile gobblers, 13; and bearded hen, one.
