The number of households without power has dwindled to 350 and full power should be restored by Saturday, Intercounty Electric Cooperative reported Thursday morning.
Intercounty said sparsely populated areas and individuals with serious repair were the only ones left without power. The company has approximately 125 poles to repair, including ones that were set temporarily.
The communities of Roby and Edgar Springs are completely repaired. Cabool, Licking, Mountain Grove and Houston lack individual outages with the more serious repairs. Work still remains south of Summersville – the Jadwin area around Highway 19.
Intercounty says if power comes on around you, please call its headquarters and file a report. It said it may already know the issue but due to the severity, it make take a while to fix. A timetable will not be available.
Intercounty said it continues to receive calls and asks customers to continue to share what they see. The company stressed that no one attempt to clear lines.
