The Houston Lady Tigers hadn’t played in 11 days. They didn’t look like they had endured a long layoff.

Beginning with an eight-run first inning, Houston took early control and cruised to a 15-0 three-inning victory Monday against Conway.

Inclement weather had kept the Lady Tigers (3-4) indoors for more than a week.

Hannah Pounds was 2-for-2 with four RBIs. Freshman Carmen Floyd tripled home a pair of runs, and Shelbi Moore and Paula Chernowsky scores three runs apiece.

Pounds gave up just one hit while striking out two and walking none.
