Charlotte Neal of Success was recently named Texas County Memorial Hospital’s April employee of the month.
Neal is a transcriptionist and clerk in the medical records department at TCMH and has worked at the hospital for 10 years. She was nominated for the award by her supervisor, Pat Henderson.
“Charlotte is a very professional and positive person in whatever she is doing,” Henderson said. “I know that I can trust Charlotte to do whatever is best for all involved.”
Henderson noted that Neal’s job duties recently changed a little and regardless of what Neal’s doing, “she likes things done and done correctly.”
“As someone that has recently taken on new job responsibilities, I’m glad to have Charlotte as a co-worker,” Henderson said, referring to her new role as medical records department manager.
As employee of the month, Neal received a certificate honoring her achievement; a pin; $100 cash; a special parking place in the TCMH lot; one day of paid vacation; a membership in the TCMH Fitness Center; a $50 gift card; a gift certificate to D&L Florist; and CD of the month from Big Country 99.
A reception is planned at the hospital in honor of Neal, who is eligible for the 2009 TCMH employee of the year award.
