A Houston business is under new ownership this week.
Joe and Whitney Bell of Houston purchased The Phoenix Theatre from Steve and Judy Chaney of Houston. The transaction was completed Monday.
The purchase also included the drive-in theatre, which is slated to reopen for the season Friday, June 5. It is one of just a handful of drive-ins left in the state.
The Chaneys operated the business for about five year.
