The 58th annual Raymondville Picnic gets under way this evening (Thursday) at the eastern Texas County community’s fairgrounds.
Sponsored by the Raymondville Picnic Committee, the event includes entertainment, a carnival midway and food.
Bluff City Shows will provide the carnival midway. Advance armbands are $10; and armbands on the grounds are $12. There is free parking and admission nightly.
Here is the entertainment schedule:
-7 to 11 p.m. the evening: Garold McCoy and the South 63 Band.
-7 to 11:30 Friday: Gene DeWitt and the Country Pride Band.
-3:30 p.m. Saturday: Route 63 Car Club Cruise-In; 5 p.m. pony pull.
-7 p.m. – midnight Saturday: Keith Bradshaw and the Country Connection.
