Carrie Marie Gill, 86, died Sunday, June 14, 2009, at Stonecrest Health Care Center in Viburnum.

She was born March 12, 1923, in Plano, Okla., daughter of James Henry Riddle and Mary Ethel Miller. She married Ray Gill.

She was a housewife and lived many years in Lucas, Ark., before moving to the Hartshorn area. She later moved to the Stonecrest Health Care Center, where she enjoyed sewing and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; a brother, Bill James Riddle; and a sister, Sara Gossett.

Survivors include four children, Jay Gill of Rudy, Ark., Donald Gill of Viburnum, Henry Gill of Breckenridge, Colo., and Rose Mary Nipp of Greenwood, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Services were Wednesday, June 17, at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Steelman officiating. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery.
