Dorothy Mae Dunagan White, 81, died Monday, June 15, 2009, at her home in Plato.
She was born Jan. 18, 1928, in Bethel, Okla., daughter of Thomas Franklin and Lucy Jones Dunagan. She and James White were married Dec. 24, 1948.
She was an owner and operator of a greenhouse. She attended New Life Ministries Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; a grandson; two sisters, Hazel Smith and Ethel Romine; and three brothers, Harvey, Charlie and Ray Dunagan.
Survivors include three sons, Mike White of Lebanon, Tommy White of Lancaster, Calif., and Jim White of Bakersfield, Calif.; two sisters, Melba Jordan of Jacksonville, Fla., and Dollie Haskett of Boulder City, Nev.; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday, June 18, at New Life Ministries Church with the Rev. Judy Roth officiating. Burial will be in Long Hollow Cemetery under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
