The trial for a murder suspect in Howell County is scheduled to start this morning in Texas County Circuit Court.
Jared Graven faces first-degree murder charges for the death of Ricky Johnson of Pottersville.
His trial will take place in Houston on a change of venue.
The Howell County Sheriff’s Department says Johnson’s body was found in November of last year in a burned garage in West Plains.
The department says Graven and his brother, Jonnathan Graven, are also charged with arson, tampering with a motor vehicle and abandoning a corpse.
Jonnathan Graven’s trial is set to begin in September.
