Houston police are seeking suspects in the theft of items last week totaling nearly $5,000. Authorities in Pulaski County recovered the loot, and lawmen are seeking a suspect.
Police recovered an all-terrain vehicle, as well as wheels and tires, stolen in Houston on May 28 or 29.
An alert motorist saw the thief’s vehicle – without headlights on – and took a license plate number, which led authorities to find the items at Dixon.
Brandon M. Ingram, 20, of Licking, reported the ATV taken from Highway 17 Apartments. It was valued at $3,200.
Sam Wetzel, 39, of 16278 Indian Creek Trails said about $1,600 in wheels and tires and $100 in vent glass were taken from a 1985 Chevrolet Blazer. The suspects had placed the vehicle on concrete blocks and removed the wheels and tires.
