A Mountain View man was injured in a crash early Saturday morning in southern Texas County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Darren R. Kelly, 34, of Birch Tree, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet pickup that failed to make a corner on Stillhouse Road, ran off the road, struck a large stump and overturned before coming to rest in the roadway, said Cpl. Curtis Haden.
A passenger, Kyle D. Brooks, sustained moderate injuries and was taken to St. Frances Hospital in Mountain View by private vehicle.
