U.S. Rep. Jo Ann Emerson held an economic development meeting Tuesday at Licking City Hall.
Emerson met with representatives of two Licking manufacturers, Tag Uniforms, and Current River Pole.
“We’ve got to get organized behind our southern Missouri employers and do everything possible to create a positive business environment,” Emerson said this evening. “Tag Uniforms and Current River Pole are important components of our local economy. They have the qualities of successful Southern Missouri businesses – strong workforces, great leadership, and quality products. We need to replicate the things they are doing well in other communities throughout our region.”
