A Texas County woman died Thursday afternoon of an apparent self-inflicted gun wound.
Texas County Sheriff Carl Watson said Nancy Jean Walser, 55, was found in the yard behind her house on Highway 137 about four miles south of Yukon.
Authorities were called to the scene around 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
