Shirley Ann Willard, 66, died Thursday, July 23, 2009, at Lake City Medical Center in Lake City, Minn., following a short illness.

She was born Feb. 1, 1943, in Hartshorn, daughter of Archie and Rosetta Crabtree Morrow. She and Bobby Willard were married May 6, 1978, in Houston.

She grew up in Maryland Heights and graduated high school in 1961. She soon began working for the Internal Revenue Service as a tax investigator and did so until a recent illness prevented her from working.

She loved playing music, especially the piano and accordion. She enjoyed singing, sewing and various crafts.

She was preceded in death by her father and husband, Bobby Lee Willard.

Survivors include a son, Christopher Willard; four granddaughters; her mother, Rosetta Foster of Houston; two brothers, Ameual Lee Morrow of Silex and Terry Michael Morrow of Houston; two sisters, Carolyn Bunch of Raymondville and Betty Millsaps of Harriman, Tenn.; and a fianc/, Elwood “Skip” Plourde of Springfield.

Services were Wednesday, July 29, at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with David Meade officiating. Burial was in Pine Lawn Cemetery.
