Clarence “Sonny” Michael Krieger, 70, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009, at his home in Raymondville.

He was born March 5, 1939, in Hooker, Okla., son of Mike L. and Margie Ackers Krieger.

He worked for Howerton’s Mill, Nickels pallet and Evans Sawmill.

He loved to hunt and fish, and one of his favorite pastimes was reading westerns. He also loved doing various crafts.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ida Flewelling.

Survivors include his wife, Glenadean Stoops Krieger of the home; three daughters, Renee Mohrman and Margie Krieger of Raymondville and Dawn Krieger of Licking; a grandson; and two granddaughters.

Services were Wednesday, Aug. 26, at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Wesley Wallace officiating. Burial with full military honors was in Mahan Cemetery.
