Texas County Coroner Tom Whittaker speaks Monday morning to the mother of the two boys, ages 7 and 4, who drowned in the river behind their home.

Updated at 10:06 p.m. Two boys who were visiting their grandparents are the focus of a massive search in northwest Texas County tonight along the BIg Piney River.

Authorities tonight released the names of the two boys. They are 7-year-old Jesse Bagley, and his 4-year-old brother, Wyatt.

The oldest boy was wearing a red shirt and black jeans. His brother was wearing a white shirt with a bulldog on it. He was wearing blue pants. They were last seen at about 5 p.m. Anyone who has seen the boys should call Wri-Tex 911, which will pass the information along to the command post.

Updated at 9:53 p.m. A Missouri State Highway Patrol chopper equipped with night-vision equipment will soon join the search for the two lost boys.

Updated at 9:32 p.m. Authorities this evening continue to roundup volunteers, supplies and food as they look for two young boys reported missing at about 5:20 p.m.

A large tent from the Texas County Health Department is being erected as volunteers prepare for what could be a long evening.

Several county fire departments and others from Phelps and Wright counties are involved in the search.

Updated at 8 p.m. As night falls on Texas County, additional volunteers are mobilizing in northwest Texas County as the search for two young boys continues.

Mountain Grove, Roby and Licking fire departments are on the scene, as is the Texas County Rescue Squad.

The Missouri Department of Conservation is also assisting. The Texas County chapter of the American Red Cross also has been activated. Others departments are on standby.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says it hopes to have a helicopter on scene by 9:30 p.m. Authorities also are seeking the use of Missouri National Guard chopper.

Earlier: Volunteers with several departments are assembling in northwest Texas County along the Big Piney River searching for two missing boys, ages 4 and 7.

Several agencies are involved after the boys were reported missing near Hazelton Drive.

Authorities said 7-year-old Jesse is wearing a red sleeveless shirt and black jeans. Wyatt, 4, is wearing a bulldog shirt and blue pants trimmed in yellow.
