A Salem man faces multiple charges following a Texas County accident Tuesday east of Raymondville.
Ryan D. Stagner, 31, of Salem, was operating a westbound truck that ran off the roadway and overturned, ejecting a passenger.
Jeremiah E. Judd, 27, was flown from the scene to St. John’s Hospital in Springfield. Five patrol officers and county deputies responded.
Later that evening, Stagner was arrested on seven charges: leaving the scene of an accident, driving while intoxicated, second-degree assault, resisting arrest, assault of a law enforcement officer, possession of a firearm while intoxicated and driving while suspended.
He was taken to the Texas County Jail.
