A'ndrea J. White

A’ndrea White, age 17, daughter of Mark and Pat (Murphy) White, was born on Oct. 15, 1991 in Houston, Mo. She went home to the Lord on Sept. 18, 2009.

A’ndrea was preceded in death by her grandmother, Blanche White; and her grandfather, Bradley Murphy.

A’ndrea is survived by her parents of Houston, Mo.; two brothers, Marc and Andrew and his fianc/e Crystal of Houston, Mo.; a sister, Shannon Choate and husband Justin of McDonaugh, Ga.; two nephews, Payton Choate of McDonaugh, Ga., and Owen White of Houston, Mo.; two nieces, Tori Choate of McDonaugh, Ga., and Gracie White of Houston, Mo.; a grandmother, Betty Murphy of Camdenton, Mo.; and a grandfather, Jack White and wife Barbara of Houston, Mo.

A’ndrea had just started her senior year at Houston High. She was looking forward to going on to college. She was going to study photography, her love.

She was a member of Ozark Baptist Church. She received Christ on Oct. 31, 1999, and was baptized with her cousin, Brandon White and his wife Randi, by the Rev. Ed Hamilton.

A’ndrea loved her family and friends. She enjoyed her job at Miller’s Grill because she loved the people. Her main interest in life was her music and photography. She was a very uplifting person. A’ndrea’s priority in life was trying to make everyone smile and give comfort in time of sorrow and need.

When anyone saw A’ndrea you would see her best friend. Lyndsey Tarrants. They were there for each other until the Lord chose to take A’ndrea home to be with her grandmother.

A’ndrea was a very special person and will be missed greatly.

Family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the A’ndrea White Memorial Fund c/o Evans Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.evansfh.com.

Services are 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009, at the Houston High School gymnasium with Pastor Ed Edington and the Rev. Ed Hamilton officiating. Pallbearers are Bradley Pounds, Travis Cole, Andrew Finn, Stanley Cornman, Kyle Mayfield and Dustin Blackburn. Honorary pallbearer is David Fisher. Burial will be in Pine Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
