Julia “Judy” Kathleen Breedlove, 62, died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009, at her home in Bucyrus.

She was born Aug. 19, 1947, in Syracuse, Kan., daughter of George E. and Rebecca Dees McKee. She and Lester Ivan Breedlove Sr. were married Nov. 15, 1965.

Judy became a member of Hickory Ridge Church and was baptized in the spring of 2006.

Judy enjoyed family gatherings and preparing food. She loved to embroidery, teaching her grandchildren, going to town, playing cards and board games and reminiscing around the table.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lester; a brother, Ulus F. McKee; and a sister, Ellen Lorene Button.

Survivors include four children, Lester Ivan Breedlove Jr., Hank C. Breedlove of Falcon, Pamela J. Cooley and Lisa J. Tucker of Bucyrus; five grandchildren; a brother, George Eugene McKee of Success; a sister, Freda Irene Carter of Bucyrus; and numerous friends and extended family.

Graveside services were Friday, Sept. 11, at Hickory Rridge Cemetery with Pastor Dewayne Weber officiating. Burial was in Hickory Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
