Delbert Eugene Curtis, 74, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009.
He was born Oct. 11, 1935, near Duke, son of William Washington and Nellie Vaughn Curtis.
He loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed his family, friends and meeting people.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Sonny Curtis; two brothers, Paul Curtis and Lonzo Curtis; and a grandchild.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Linda Curtis; four children, Marsha Adams of Jacksonville, Ill., Lesa Seams of St. James, Carlton Curtis of Licking and Debra Smith of Denham Springs, La.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five brothers; and three sisters.
Services were Sunday, Nov. 8, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Villapiano officiating. Burial was in Palace Cemetery.
