Ralph Leroy Kinyon, 78, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility in Bolivar.
He was born May 6, 1931, in Cambridge, Iowa, son of Wayne and Geneva Wood Kinyon. He and Jean Marie Smith were married June 3, 1951.
He enjoyed family, NASCAR, fishing, woodworking and watching westerns on TV.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Jean; and an infant sister, Sharon.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis Kinyon of Edwards and Mitchell Kinyon of Bolivar; two daughters, Cherie Kinyon of Houston and Debbie Corder of Fair Play; three brothers, Varney Kinyon of Boone, Iowa, Larry Kinyon of North Carolina and Leo Kinyon of Ames, Iowa; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services are 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Miller officiating.
