Share Your Christmas, the annual drive that benefits deserving children, will kick off Monday, Nov. 30. In its 25th year, the event will operate from the basement of the Houston Lions Club Den on North U.S. 63.
Organizer Pat Miller said applications for assistance will be taken from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Donations of new and good used children’s clothing and toys will be accepted beginning that date, too.
The hours are 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Those wanting to make a monetary donation to cover needs can make it payable to “Share Your Christmas.” The address is P.O. Box 170, Houston, Mo. 65483.
Cases also will be detailed beginning Dec. 3 in the Houston Herald, which started the annual event in 1984.
Several clubs and organizations adopt families from the published case profiles. Items are boxed up and taken to the ‘Share’ headquarters and designed for the adopted family.
Angel Trees -outlining needs -will be in place at Romines Motor Co. Inc. and St. John’s Clinic, both in Houston.
