Doris Ann Smith Roper, 64, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, in St. Louis.
She was born Feb. 22, 1945, in St. Louis, daughter of Alfred and Mary Smith Roper.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, telling stories and sharing her faith in Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by her father; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Survivors include her mother; three brothers, James, Donald and David Smith; a sister, Darla Smith; a son, Bill Steppig Jr.; two daughters, Beth St. Onge and Michelle Howell; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were Monday, Dec. 14, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Gidcumb officiating. Burial was in Licking Cemetery.
