Crystal Finley of West Plains was recently named Texas County Memorial Hospital’s December employee of the month.
Finley is a respiratory therapist in the cardiopulmonary department and has worked at TCMH for three years. She was nominated for the award by her supervisor, Harry Willis, director of the cardiopulmonary department at TCMH.
“Crystal is always willing to work extra shifts,” Willis said, noting that Finley “goes the extra mile” whenever needed. “Crystal responds well to tough situations and is able to set her patients at ease.”
As employee of the month, Finley received a certificate honoring her achievement; a pin; $100 cash; a special parking place in the TCMH lot; one day of paid vacation; membership in the TCMH Fitness Center; $50 gift card; gift certificates to D&L Florist and Healing Hands of Houston; and CD of the month from KUNQ.
A reception is planned at the hospital in honor of Finley, who is eligible for the 2010 TCMH employee of the year award.
