A Houston man is the latest to file for a position on the Houston board of education.
John Impey filed candidacy paperwork. He will join incumbents Doug Castleman and Sharon Horbyk on the ballot. Two positions expire.
The deadline for filing is 5 p.m. Jan. 19. Voters go to the polls in April.
