Dale Roberts Sr., 68, died Monday, March 22, 2010, at his home.
He was born Aug. 30, 1941, in Oelwein, Iowa, son of Charles M. and Lucille M. Blaine Roberts. He and Nina Jo Riley were married June 25, 1960, in Marshall.
He and his wife attended Midvale Church. After retiring, he worked for the Dent County and Shannon County sheriff’s departments. He enjoyed spending time with family and grandchildren. He loved riding his motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Jody; two sons, Marty and Charles; and five grandchildren, all of the Summersville area.
Memorial services are 11 a.m. Saturday, March 27, at Midvale Church with the Rev. Emmett Bradford officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bradford Funeral Home.
