Kevin Dale Barton, 48, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010, in Avondale, Ariz.
He was born May 23, 1961, son of James Lowell and Phyllis Joyce Haugse.
He was born in Missouri, lived in South Dakota and grew up in Riverside, Calif. While working in the California Conservation Corps, he met and married his first wife, Alicia Perez. He later met and married Pam. She died in 1993.
He served in the Army National Guard.
In 2005, he returned to Missouri along with his parents upon their retirement. He resided there until his mother’s passing in June 2009. He then moved to Arizona with his brother and family until his death.
Kevin had a strong relationship with the Lord. He loved bowling, fishing, camping, sports, the Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Cardinals.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pam; two brothers, Keith and Kyle; and his mother, Phyllis.
Survivors include his father, James of Sioux Falls, S.D.; a son, Steven Barton of Los Banos, Calif.; a brother; Kimbell Haugse of Surprise, Ariz.; and a sister, Denise Banks of Los Banos, Calif.
A memorial service was Sunday, March 20, at the Haugse residence.
