The Missouri Department of Transportation will sweep bridges this week on four highways in Texas and Phelps counties.
MoDOT said sweeping, which prevents small debris from clogging bridge drains and entering enclosed drainage structures, will take place on U.S. 63 and highways 137, 17 and 32.
Also this week, MoDOT crews:
–Performed bridge work on Highway M on the bridge located over West Piney Creek.
–Patched Highway 17 from U.S. 63 to the Laclede County line.
–Repaired shoulders on U.S. 63 from Highway RA to the Houston city limits.
