The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a wind advisory for Texas County.
It is in effect until 5 p.m. Saturday.
Southeast winds sustained at 30 to 35 mph are expected. Gusts will hit 45 mph, according to the weather service.
Lightweight objects such as lawn furniture and barbecue grills may blow over. Vehicles on east- to west-oriented roadways may be affected, according to the National Weather Service.
