In memory of a faithful supporter, Angels Home Center in western Texas County is closed this week.
Linda Barrett, who was instrumental in donating the organization’s first location and donating her time, died.
“Her donation of time volunteering to help others will be greatly missed,” said a representation of the organization, Betty Adams.
The center will reopen Wednesday, May 5. Hours are 10 a.m. until 4 p.m Wednesday through Saturday.
Persons wanting to make a memorial contribution in honor of Barrett can do so at Evans Funeral Home. The funds will be used for burial expenses.
