A Houston business was burglarized last week, police said.

Officers were called April 6 to OK Tire, 410 S. First St., where a burglary occurred overnight. Robert L. Williams, manager, reported arriving at work and finding change strewn on the showroom floor.

Two window panes on the north side of the business was broken with rocks and the window unlocked.

A cash box secured with a padlock was reported missing. The loss was estimated at $1,000 in currency and checks. Included with that were some receipts.

In other matters, police:

-Charged Brandon P. Duneske, 31, of 722 Augusta, with allowing his male pit bull to run at-large, resulting in a dog-bite incident.

-Arrested John N. Wilson, 29, of 223 South St., with DWI and failing to drive on the right side of the roadway on April 7.

-Charged Cotton J. Huff, 16, of 1105 John St., with failing to yield the right-of-way following an April 9 accident near Ozark Avenue and Fredrick Street. Huff’s vehicle struck one driven by Joshua T. Pounds, 18, of 15159 Cleveland Road.
