Houston sophomore Kyle Jones won the long jump and tied for first in the high jump Monday at the Willow Springs Relays.

Jones’ leap of 6 feet, 2 inches in the high jump was a personal record. He was also second in the 400 and third in the triple jump.

Bethany Korte won the long jump for the girls. She was also second in the 100-meter dash.

The 4×100 relay team of Danielle Pounds, Kaitlyn Kell, Taylor Korte and Bethany Korte finished first. The same foursome was second in the 4×200 relay.

Kayla Herndon finished second in the 300 hurdles and fourth in the 100. Taylor Korte was third in the 200.
