A Licking teenager was seriously injured Saturday night in a crash north of her hometown, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Sgt. Jeff Kinder of the patrol said Corenia M. Brown, 17, was driving southbound on Highway C when her vehicle ran off the right side of roadway, down an embankment and overturned. Brown was flown to Cox South in Springfield.
A passenger, Thomas Williams, 37, of Licking, was to seek his own treatment.
Brown’s 2008 Chevrolet was totaled. Kinder said she was not wearing a seat belt. Her passenger did.
