Missa Wiles

Marissa “Missa” Ashley Wiles was born Aug. 16, 1996. She departed this world to be with her Lord on April 18, 2010, at the age of 13.

She was preceded in death by an uncle, Dustin Skaggs; a great-grandmother, Bernice Ragain; two great grandfathers, Chub Ragain and Lawrence Skaggs; and a great-great grandmother, Mable Walker.

Missa is survived by her mother, Shayanna Wiles; a stepfather Russell Davis; a sister, Monique Wiles; and two brothers, Levi and Aaron Wiles, all of the home in Mountain Grove, Mo.; a grandmother, Bonnie Ragain of Bucyrus, Mo.; grandfather and grandmother, Dennis Skaggs and Deborah of Fairview, Mo.; a great-great grandmother, Bernice Skaggs; three aunts, Jamie Longwell of Mountain Grove, Mo., Christle Lambert of Springfield, Mo., and Tara Day of Fairview, Mo.; two uncles, Jason Lambert of Springfield, Mo., and Johnny Davis of Mountain Grove, Mo.; and numerous cousins and friends.

Missa loved frogs and would search for hours in mud puddles for tadpoles, so she could catch them and watch them grow into frogs. She loved to draw and write. She especially loved to aggravate her siblings.

She was a very special daughter, sister and granddaughter. Missa touched the lives of many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Services were 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at Evans Funeral Home with Pastors Bill Kelly and Clinton Massey officiating. Pallbearers were Zack Taylor, Jacob Greenhouse, Johnny Davis, Levi Wiles, Russell Davis and Johhny Davis Sr. Burial was in Hickory Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
